MY APPROACH

MY OBJECTIVE:

Provide concrete results on your health,  quantifiable according to your clinical signs and the blood test results.

THE STARTING POINT:

Restore your energy .

The organism cannot function, repair itself, develop, defend itself, etc. without energy. It is therefore essential to turn the engine back on and release the energy provided by the ATP (adenosine triphosphate) molecules in each cell.

This is the priority during our first  consultation.

It is the impulse needed to restart physiological functions.  In addition,  you will very quickly feel the effects  on your  energy level and therefore on your well-being.

PERSONALISED APPROACH

According to the analysis of your symptoms, your metabolic profile, your eating habits, your blood tests, your lifestyle and your environment.

There is no specific diet for a particular pathology, but an ideal diet exists for each person, at each moment of life.

REALISTIC CHANGES

Which will fit into your lifestyle and your habits, taking into account your tastes, your  relationship to food and your daily routine.

This progressive approach and  listening would result in long-term lifestyle changes.

MY VISION OF "HEALTHY" EATING:

"Real", authentic, natural (no chemicals), seasonal and local food, unprocessed, homemade, traditionally made and eaten in the right proportions.

As Taty Lauwers explains it so well, it is not the food itself that can be harmful to health, but the excess consumption or processing. Therefore no “real” food is prohibited.

MY ANSWER TO  THE COMMON QUESTION "IS THIS FOOD GOOD OR BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH?":

It is not possible to give a yes or no answer to  this simple question...

To take the very controversial example  of dairy products, which are the subject of a great deal of research, it is important to be able to read these studies  in detail with a scientific view and to put the  conclusions into context. What is the quality and degree of processing of the products consumed? How much is consumed? And by whom?   Are we talking about simple products (made from organic raw milk from animals that have been fed  on grass) consumed  in small quantities once or twice a week  ? Or are we talking about these UHT milks, and all their ultra-processed derivatives (milk powders, etc.) hidden in the majority of "classic" dairy products " and consumed  in large quantities several times a day  ?

MY OPINION ON THE DIFFERENT «DIETS » : vegetarien, paleo, low-carb, the "living food", the "gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free", the intermittent fasting, Failsafe, etc.

There is no one method that is better or worse than another, but there are many poorly targeted methods that do not take into account the specific needs of the person or are used excessively.

It is therefore important to consider your personal profile and also your condition at the time in order to determine whether you could benefit from a well-targeted and short-term diet, and then to be able to design your personal eating plan.

WHY NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS  ?

Of course, a healthy, nutritionally dense diet is essential for maintaining good health.

But when diet, lifestyle and environment have been sources of imbalance for too long, simply returning to  a healthy lifestyle may not be enough to quickly regain health. The correction of nutritional deficits via nutritional supplements may therefore help to make up for the nutritional imbalances accumulated over many years.

Nutritional supplements  are only justified if optimal nutritional intake cannot be achieved through diet, if needs are increased (growth, pregnancy, sport, etc.), if a deficit correction dose or pharmacological dose is necessary.

A POSITIVE APPROACH

Which is non-restrictive, which tries to reintroduce  what you don't eat enough of and not focus on  what you eat  in excess.

Deprivations is counterproductive, the notion of pleasure is essential in the  design of  meals.
